I completed my medical studies at the universities of Hamburg and Graz.

The I completed my specialist training in the field of ophthalmology at the university hospitals in Hamburg, Erlangen and Düsseldorf.

I have both German and European specialist accreditation. After my training in Germany, I gained valuable experience at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and at University College London, where I specialized in refractive corrections and modern lens surgeries.

I am a qualified scientist and lecturer at the medical faculty of the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.

For more than 15 years my Professional focus on the further development and optimization of refractive treatment methods such as correction of refractive errors and the implantation of premium lenses. As a member of the “Refractive Surgery” section at the University Hospital Düsseldorf, my team and I support numerous scientific studies to make treatments even safer and more effective.

Since the winter semester of 2020, we have also been an official academic partner of the Paracelsus Private Medical University in Nuremberg.
